Ryan Patrick

Ryan K. Patrick joined Smith, Tumlin, McCurley & Patrick, P.C. in 2006 as an associate practicing primarily in the areas of real estate and business transactions and estate planning and probate matters. Ryan graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science and received his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2005.

Ryan is currently admitted to practice in all Georgia trial courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Ryan is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar Association.

Prior to joining Smith, Tumlin, McCurley & Patrick, P.C., Ryan was an associate in a Gwinnett County law firm, practicing primarily in the areas of business and real estate litigation.

Ryan was a member of the Leadership Cobb Class of 2012.  Ryan is currently the instructor for the real estate law class of the Paralegal Certificate Program at the North Metro campus of Chattahoochee Technical College.  Ryan volunteers with several community organizations including serving on the WellStar Major Gifts Committee, serving on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Cobb Health Futures Foundation and teaching closing and settlement seminars as part of first-time home buyer programs of the Marietta Housing Authority.

Ryan lives in Marietta with his wife Jamie, his three children, Ali, Rhodes and Beck, and their dog Baxter and is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta. Ryan enjoys the Georgia Bulldogs, running, golf, music and spending time with his family and friends.
