Wayne McCurley

D. Wayne McCurley began practicing law in Marietta, Georgia in 1986. He worked in two other firms before joining Smith Tumlin McCurley & Patrick in 1993. He has examined thousands of residential and commercial real estate titles all over north Georgia particularly in Cobb, Cherokee, Bartow, Paulding, Douglas, and Gwinnett Counties. He has written title insurance policies for transactions ranging from simple residential purchases to complex multistate commercial financing.

Wayne graduated from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 1986 after completing his B.A. summa cum laude at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga. He was born in Marietta and spent his childhood in the Oak Grove community of Cherokee County.

Wayne has lived in Cobb County since 1986 and in the City of Marietta since 1999. He and his wife Anita have three adult children: Alexander, Emily and Olivia. Wayne is a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. He is also a board member of World Bridge Ministries in Acworth. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching football and movies, and shooting his firearms.
